It's a test that uses the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method to detect the presence of the dengue NS1 antigen in a blood sample. The NS1 antigen is a protein produced by the dengue virus. This test is particularly useful for early diagnosis of dengue fever, especially during the acute phase, within the first 7 days of symptoms.
